SOURCE REVEALED

Since the theme of this step is connecting with the unknown, the main SHADOW I perceive is distraction: The loss of purpose, the lack to follow through, the lack of following your path—sucked into the illusion that darkness can swallow your light, your path, your consciousness.

And it is a challenge to face the unknown.

To face nothingness with all that you are.

Because how do you see yourself when immersed in nothingness?

A challenge often rising with the unknown is the loss of concreteness. When it’s too abstract that you only can dismiss reality as unreliable? Unreal? Unsafe? Eventually bullshit.

This is the distraction, we escape, and live without containment. Standing disembodied and roaming on this earth without meaning.

Nothingness is an area of life that is often inquired in spirituality because it allows us to stop, pause, and restart anew. Giving us the spaciousness to embrace the non dual experience of presence.

And yet paradoxically this non-dual experience of spirituality is only consciously experienced through separation: duality. Because Self awareness needs reflection, needs an other.

And magically when that happens, the science of consciousness creates the third—the trinity. And this allows us to experience again unity but with purpose, with direction.

And that’s exactly what the feeling gift is of the unknown: the realization what consciousness is. Being concrete and abstract at the same time!
