LIFE CYCLE

A Four-Day Immersive Retreat

April 24-27, 2025 | InnEssence, Netherlands

What if we could remember deeply, fully our original innocence?

Raw, Wild, Authentic, Spontaneous,  Whole, Untainted, Magical…

Life Cycle invites you to return to your natural state, where movement, stillness, and presence guide us back to wholeness. This four-day retreat is an immersive journey through the body, exploring sensitivity as a gateway to deeper connection with ourselves and the world.

Daily Flow

Morning: BODYTALE
Begin each day with a hands-on bodywork session designed to deepen awareness and refine somatic listening.

BODYTALE is a communal practice where we invite the body to tell its ancient story. Moving from bodywork to dance and from dance to bodywork, we awaken the “Total Body.” Like in a laboratory, we learn and deepen our research into how physical contact inspires movement. We will read the signs, symbols, and synergies that physiology reveals as a reminder of its wisdom, its mysterious technology, and its navigation system. A rich palette of tools will be offered to approach the body with gentleness, healing, and consent.

Midday: LIQUID EMBODIMENT
Transition into a movement practice that encourages fluid expression, allowing form to dissolve into flow.

LIQUID EMBODIMENT is a communal practice aimed at responding to present needs. By co-creating this practice from our inner genius, we blend the wisdom of Tantra, Butoh, dance technique, bodywork, breathwork, and the juiciy bits from our everyday lives. The philosophy of LIQUID EMBODIMENT is an invitation for the fire of our spirit to descend into the matter of our body, melting it and translating its full expression into pure movement—this confirms practice as a prayer. Like in a laboratory, we research, develop, and experiment with how our ancient-futuristic bodies behave in space and time through different modalities, techniques, and the chosen theme for this course.

Evening: ONE MOVEMENT
Conclude with a collective inquiry exploring: How can we live with the perception that we are all one?

ONE MOVEMENT is a communal practice to awaken the consciousness of unity. It explores a collective inquiry: How can we live with the perception that we are all one? To invite back the natural state, where movement, stillness, and presence restore wholeness. This practice weaves together years of exploration in somatic intelligence, energetic alignment, and embodied awareness. Through movement, touch, and presence, we awaken the language of the body—where the invisible becomes felt, and the felt becomes known.

For the daily practices of BODYTALE and LIQUID EMBODIMENT, they will be accompanied by a theme from the OPEN CONTACT course to maintain precise research work.

There are some values I uphold and invite each participant to cultivate in this retreat.
Find them below.

  • This retreat is meant to be both an individual and a collective adventure. Which means that we journey through what we don’t know yet. For this, we actively invite & pursue acceptance and validation for what is true inside or outside. And from the creative act, we cultivate & nurture the potential of positive growth when conflicts arise.

  • Knowing that nobody can promise ultimate safety is the beginning of a secure attitude. In this retreat, the spaces we venture prioritises the awareness of vulnerabilities. Nurturing the elements and essentials for a trauma informed journey, we foster agency, power and responsibility over our vulnerabilities. Activating the inner antidote and the strongest state, so that your sanity is truly in your hands.

  • If we look at life from a fundamental & godly perspective, the real glue of life is participation. Living only happens with participation. As multidimensional entities, we are always partaking—knowingly or unknowingly—in the cosmic dance of existence. This retreat is meant to reveal that power and creator in you to step forward and shine. The quality of the space depends on your presence, participation and actions.

  • Next to appreciating what is, we actively pursue to see beyond form into the intent of creation. Acknowledging that we all have human limitations and are each a mystic treasure chest meant to be revealed in a timely order. The formless and the form is a unity of wonder, glory, and a sacred reality that is not meant to be contained in words, but experienced.

This retreat weaves together years of exploration in somatic intelligence, energetic attunement, and embodied awareness. Through movement, touch, and presence, we awaken the language of the body—where the unseen becomes felt, and the felt becomes known.
